Healthy Care Pregnancy Program
Supporting mothers through pregnancy, recovery, and early parenthood.
The Healthy Care Pregnancy Program (HCPP) provides culturally safe, trauma-informed support for pregnant and newly parenting individuals who use or have used substances. Through in-reach services, advocacy, and relationship-based care, we help bridge the transition from hospital to home and connect families with ongoing community supports.

About the Program
Pregnancy can bring uncertainty, especially when families are navigating substance use, trauma, housing instability, or complex healthcare systems. HCPP offers individualized support during pregnancy and up to seven months postpartum, creating a consistent point of connection during some of life's most vulnerable moments.
Our work is grounded in Indigenous cultural safety, harm reduction, and the belief that every mother deserves compassionate care, dignity, and the opportunity to remain connected with her baby whenever possible

Building Connections
One of the strengths of HCPP is helping families stay connected beyond pregnancy. As families move forward, we work closely with programs such as Healthiest Babies Possible and Early Years to ensure continuity of care and ongoing community support.

Our Approach
We recognize that every person's story is different, and that healing begins with trust, compassion, and consistent support. Rather than expecting participants to navigate systems alone, we meet people where they are—in hospital, in housing, or in the community—and help create pathways that reflect their goals, strengths, and hopes for the future.
Connect With Our Team
If you're pregnant, newly parenting, or supporting someone who may benefit from this program, we'd be happy to answer your questions and help determine whether HCPP is the right fit.
