Early Years & Parent Growing Together
A place for families to connect, learn, play and grow together.
The Early Years & Parent Growing Together provides culturally grounded, relationship-based support for parents, caregiving, babies and young children. Through welcoming groups, programs and parent-child actvities, land-based activities, counselling, home visits, and more, all to strengthen parents confidence and support their child's healthy development.

How We Support Families

Early Years Groups & Playgroups — welcoming spaces for children and caregivers to play, learn, share meals and build relationships.

Home & Community Visits — individualized outreach and support at home or in the community, including accompaniment to appointments and connections to other services.

Parent & Perinatal Support — information, encouragement and practical support throughout pregnancy, postpartum and the early parenting years.

Counselling & Wellness — individual and group supports related to parenting, mental wellness, trauma, anxiety, postpartum experiences and family wellbeing.

Culture & Land-Based Learning — opportunities to participate in cultural teachings, language, land-based activities, ceremony, crafting and gatherings.

Parenting & Family Learning — workshops and activities that build confidence, relationships and practical parenting skills.

Food & Practical Supports — shared meals and food supports that help strengthen family and community connection.

A Place to Connect
Programming may include stories and songs, shared meals, cultural activities, outdoor adventures, wellness activities, parenting education and opportunities to learn alongside Elders, Knowledge Keepers and community partners.
Families are supported to build relationships with one another while connecting with additional health, developmental and community services when needed.
Working Together
Early Years & Parent-Child Growing Together works with health providers, child development services, libraries, cultural teachers, counsellors and community organizations to create more connected support for families.
